The function of the care and bereavement ministry is to keep in contact with members who are unable to attend services due to various reasons, i.e:
and such the like. This ministry team is designed to help bridge the gap between leaders and members.
Each team member is instructed to inform the coordinator about who they visited and what service was rendered. The coordinator will then give a report to the church leaders(s)
During our visits, we meet the spiritual needs by offering encouragement and ministering to the members who are sick, homebound, hospitalized, or in nursing homes.
This is our way of letting you know, that we are here for you”.
At times we do recommend leaders from the church and other members with outgoing personalities and gifts of hospitality and exhortation to make visits in the time of need.
We do understand that visitation will come easier for some people than others.
